Youth Engagement and Community Partnerships

APPRENTICESHIP
PROGRAM

SRMG works closely with Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and their Apprenticeship Program. This program provides training to SRPMIC Community members, employees, and other individuals seeking certification of their chosen trade.

As an apprentice with SRMG, you gain valuable real world experience whether learning to operate front end loaders in the Heavy Equipment Apprenticeship to learning many other software programs needed to provide exceptional service to our internal and external customers.

“A lot of the paperwork has to be in order, whether that’s in numbers or alphabetically. I learned how to work different equipment like scanners. Double checking is important. I learned indexing, invoices, filing and statements and different types of software like OnBase, Freight Payables, Unity Client and Excel.”
